Raised in a family of professional jazz musicians in New Jersey, Nora’s infatuation with music began at a young age. Throughout her childhood and beyond, she studied singing and tuba playing. Nora majored in Music Business at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee where she enjoyed various music supervision internships at prestigious companies such as Search Party Music and Playtone Productions.
After graduating from Belmont University, Nora worked with Nashville-based music supervisor Rick Clark on a variety of projects including SundanceTV's Hap & Leonard. She went on shortly thereafter to work at VICE Media Group, first as a Music Licensing Assistant, then as a Music Coordinator.
Currently, Nora is enjoying her career as a freelancer, working with a variety of music supervision, post production, and advertising companies. Most recently, she music supervised ATROPIA, the winner of the 2025 Sundance Film Festivals’ U.S Dramatic Competition.
By night and on weekends, Nora is a professional tuba player, playing private gigs and performing with some of New York’s finest brass bands. Her primary bands are Lucky Chops, the eminent touring brass band that struck viral gold with their covers on Youtube, and Brass Queens, an all-woman brass band Nora helped to build.
